SMART CARS DAY 13th – 14th of October 2017

Systems, that will enable to your car to park independently, stop your car from an imminent obstacle or even recognize the traffic signs? All of this systems you could see and try out on the Smart Cars Days, which held this October and was historically most successful event of all from this series. During Friday and Saturday this event, which take place on our test track in Milovice near Prague, was visited by more than two hundreds of automobile enthusiasts.

There was planned a huge program for all the visitors. They could practically try technologies and systems developed by Valeo and throw a speech with our experts. People create groups, which were rotating between particular stands. On every stand our specialist were waiting to tell group about our high tech inventions for smart autonomous cars. Moreover everyone could ride cars, in which smart systems are tested.

Now, let’s take a look on high-tech products from the automotive industry, which could be seen on the Smart Cars Day.

The first of them is Park4U, which makes your parking really easy. You simply press the button, the car finds a suitable parking space, parks and your tasks is only to turn off the engine and get off. Next system, that we introduced, was Park4U remote. With this system you can park your car from outside using the remote control.

Then there was presented Autonomous Emergency Braking system, which has the ability to stop the car in front of obstruction or Lane Change Assistant, which is able to warn you, if there is approaching vehicle in a blind spot. We showed also Surround View System – system monitoring surroundings of the car, which the driver cannot see and the last interesting thing was an intelligent cameras for recognizing traffic signs and obstacles.

Visitors really appreciated the program and there was amazing atmosphere during all the time of event. Some visitors saw smart cars for the first time, so they just starred on it. More experienced visitors were eagerly debating with our specialists about the future of these smart stunning vehicles.
